How the checker works
We check against ENABLE, a free word list of 172,823 words that many word games use. The official Scrabble lists (NWL in North America, Collins elsewhere) are licensed and updated every few years, so a handful of short words differ. Each word page below says so, and links to the official Scrabble dictionary for a tournament ruling.
Points are face value: the tile values added up, before double and triple squares. Scrabble and Words With Friends score some letters differently, so you get both.
