Squaredle solver
Type your Squaredle grid one row per line and the solver finds every word of four or more letters you can trace through touching squares, including diagonals, without using a square twice. Words are grouped by length, longest first; tap a word to see its path light up on the grid.

Worked example
Our practice grid reads TREA / SLIN / OPMD / UCKE. The solver finds 191 words of four letters or more. The longest, COUPLERS, starts at row 4, column 2 and moves row 3, column 1, then row 4, column 1, then row 3, column 2, then row 2, column 2, and so on: every step goes to a touching square, sometimes diagonally, and no square is used twice. Tap it in the list above to watch the path.
How Squaredle works
Squaredle is a daily word-search puzzle. You get a grid of letters, usually four by four on weekdays and sometimes larger or with gaps, and you find words by connecting letters that touch: up, down, left, right or diagonally. Each square can be used only once in a word, and words need at least four letters. The game uses the NASPA Word List (NWL2023), separates required words from bonus words, and fades a square once every word through it has been found.
How the solver finds words
It first drops every dictionary word that uses a letter not in your grid. For each remaining word it tries to trace the word from every square, stepping only to touching squares it hasn't used yet; if a trace reaches the end of the word, the word and its path are kept. Missing squares (typed as .) are skipped, so odd-shaped grids work too. Results are grouped by length, longest first, with common words before rare ones.
Tips for finding more words
Look for common word endings sitting next to each other: -ING, -ED, -ER and -S squares near the edge often finish several words. Once you have a word, try its relatives: plurals, past tenses and the same word with a prefix. Long words matter most, since the grid usually hides one or two words that use most of the squares, and finding them early opens up the shorter ones that cross them.
If you want a hint rather than the full list, raise the shortest-word setting to 6 or 7: you'll see only the long words, which usually unlock the rest.
Limits
Squaredle's required words come from its own curated list and NWL2023, while we use the public-domain ENABLE list. Expect a few words here that the game rejects or counts only as bonus words, and the occasional newer word the game accepts that we don't list.
Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum word length in Squaredle?
Four letters. Shorter words are rejected as too short, so the solver defaults to 4. You can lower it to 3 for other grid games.
Can I move diagonally?
Yes. Any of the eight touching squares can come next, as long as you don't reuse a square in the same word.
How do I enter a grid with gaps or a bigger size?
Type one row per line and use a dot for each missing square. Grids up to 8 by 8 work.
Why does the game say a word from the list is not valid?
Squaredle uses its own word list. Ours is the public-domain ENABLE list, which includes some rare words that Squaredle leaves out or counts only as bonus words.
