Famous blends it finds
| Words | Top blends |
|---|---|
| breakfast + lunch | breakfunch, breakfasunch, breakunch |
| spoon + fork | spoork, spork, foon |
| brad + angelina | angelinad, brangelina, angelad |
| beyonce + jayz | jayonce, beyoncayz, beyonayz |
| motor + hotel | mototel, motel, hotor |
How it works
The combiner tries three joins in both orders: where the end of one word overlaps the start of the other (MOTOR + HOTEL → MOTEL), where both words share a letter (BEN + JENNIFER → BENNIFER), and where the opening sound of one meets the rest of the other (BREAKFAST + LUNCH → BRUNCH). Each result is scored on how much of both words you can still recognise and whether it is easy to say, so letter soup never makes the list.
Questions
Can I combine names for a couple or a baby? Yes. Put one name in each box; try both orders, since the first word supplies the start of the blend.
Are the blends real words? Usually not. They are new words built to sound natural.
